There are several WordPress Templates that are available for FREE download and use.  There are several themes that you can choose from with various colors, one column, two column, etc.  Here some key items to note when using these themes:

• Not all themes may work – you should choose up to 10 different themes and load them on to your blog to test for functionality.
• Select themes from the first 20-25 pages on this site.  They are more likely to be the newest designs that will be compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

• Not all themes allow you to modify your header and put your name, logo or other graphic in. If this is important to you then select a different theme from your test pick.
